To find out what type of in-flight entertainment system is available on board, whether with individual touch screens or with your mobile devices, please refer to the sections below, which list the type of entertainment associated with each aircraft type.

Here’s a peek at all our inflight entertainment options.  

Our aircrafts A321LR, A330-200 and A330-300 have individual touch screens* with a wide array of entertainment options for everyone, from classic movies to new releases to hit TV series. The screens also offer a wide choice of music, including an eclectic selection of channels and soothing videos designed to encourage meditation.

* You will need wired headphones or a wireless audio receiver/transmitter to access the content (a 3.5 mm auxiliary connection).

Please check the exceptions for aircrafts without touch screens.

Applies only to our A330-243 aircraft and all A321-200 aircraft.

To make your journey more enjoyable, consider:

  • Charging your electronic devices (phone and/or tablet) before boarding because these aircraft are not equipped with individual touch screens or USB ports
  • Bringing portable batteries if you plan to spend a long portion of the flight watching audiovisual content (make sure your portable batteries comply with transport requirements)
  • Downloading a film or episodes from your favourite TV series on your own electronic device before boarding your flight
  • Bringing books or magazines
 

Once you have connected to our inflight entertainment system, you will be able to enjoy our selection of films, TV shows, concerts, documentaries and games. No prior download is necessary.

After takeoff, and when the aircraft is at full altitude, just follow these 3 simple steps: 

  1. Switch your tablet or smart phone to airplane mode. 
  2. Turn on your Wi-Fi connection, and select Air Transat¹
  3. Use one of these three options to connect to our entertainment system:
    • Scan the QR code on the seat in front of you
    • On the Air Transat app, go to the entertainment section, and click on ''Access entertainment''  
    • Open your web browser², and go to airtransat.com

Note: The entertainment system is compatible with the following platforms versions or higher: iOS 10, Android V5, OS X 10.10 and Windows 8. ¹This Wi-Fi network only gives access to our inflight entertainment system. It is not possible to browse the Internet. ²Such as Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome. Not compatible with certain browsers, such as Explorer. This inflight entertainment system has content in both English and French.

 

Applies only to A330-200 and A340-300 aircraft operated by our partner carrier, Hi Fly.

Accessible inflight entertainment

We offer accessible inflight entertainment on our flights, by providing accessible Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) for use onboard.

These devices provide entertainment content with descriptive audio and closed captions to assist customers who are blind, have low vision, who are deaf or hearing impaired who wish to benefit from our in-flight entertainment.

Should you wish to use this service on your upcoming flight, please note that advance booking is necessary at least 48 hours before your departure. You can either get in touch with our Contact Centre or you may simply fill out this form to make a request for use of an accessible device.
