Air Transat introduces free on-demand entertainment on all flights from Ireland to Canada
Access entertainment including films, TV shows and music through the aircraft’s Wi-Fi
July, 2014
Air Transat, Canada’s leading leisure airline, has introduced free on-demand in-flight entertainment on all its routes from Ireland to Canada.
Following the roll out of individual touch screens with on-demand entertainment on its Airbus A330 fleet*, Air Transat has introduced a service on its Airbus A310s where passengers can access entertainment including films, TV shows and music through their own personal tablets, smart phones (iOS and Android) and laptops. The new service will be available through the aircraft’s Wi-Fi system immediately after take-off.
This will enable passengers travelling on all Air Transat flights from Ireland to choose their own in-flight entertainment at no extra cost.
Air Transat offers year round direct flights from Dublin and Shannon to Toronto, and Dublin to Montreal.
In the summer months (May – October), the airline offers up to five weekly flights from Dublin to Toronto, plus weekly services from Dublin to Montreal and Shannon to Toronto.
