Snowshoeing, once key to the survival of coureurs de bois (runners of the woods), or traditional fur traders, is the perfect modern-day winter sport for discovering Canada’s flora and fauna. There’s nothing more fun after a good snowfall! Several provincial parks rent snowshoes that fit all kinds of boots.
