  • Spain’s walkable city

Explore Valencia

  • Things to see and do

Visit the Serrano Towers, an iconic city landmark, and surviving feature of Valencia’s city walls. Climb the ancient steps of this Gothic building to take in the views of the Turia River. The Cathedral of Valencia is another Gothic-style building housing incredible treasures, from the Holy Grail to famous works of art from the Spanish Renaissance and pieces by Maella and Goya. The Lonja de la Seda is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Silk Exchange.

  • Gastronomy & Nightlife

Located in one of the most emblematic buildings in the city, the Central Market of Valencia is the biggest fresh produce market in Europe. Discover more than 1200 stalls with fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses, spices, and more. You will find plenty of restaurants serving paella throughout the city as it’s Valencian cuisine’s most international dish, but why not savor it in its birthplace, the Albufera Natural Park? The restaurants in the area make it with rice grown in and around the park. The Old Town (Ciutat Vella) is the best place for nightlife in Valencia, with many bars, cozy terraces, and nightclubs.

  • Valencia’s Beaches: 20 km of Sand and Sea

With 20 km of white and golden sand, and the Mediterranean Sea with exceptional water, Valencia is a beach paradise. Just a stone's throw from the city centre, you will find beaches with restaurants and leisure facilities, such as Cabanyal, Malvarrosa, Ciutat Jardi, and Patacona. For a more secluded and relaxing beach outing, soak up the sun at El Saler, La Devesa, or La Garrofera Beach.
