Notice to Passengers: Temporary closure of Liberia-Guanacaste Airport, Costa Rica

Due to runway damage caused by heavy rains associated with Tropical Storm Sara, the Liberia-Guanacaste Airport is temporarily closed until November 21, 2024. As a result, some of our flights to/from Liberia are impacted.

Flights scheduled for November 17, 2024:

  • TS601 (LIR-YUL) on November 17: This flight will operate from San José.
    • Initial itinerary: TS601 LIR – YUL on November 17
    • New itinerary: TS601 SJO – YUL on November 19

Flights scheduled for November 20, 2024:

  • Flight TS600 (YUL-LIR) on November 20, 2024: This flight is cancelled. We are currently contacting the affected passengers to inform them of their options.
  • Flight TS601 (LIR-YUL) on November 20, 2024: This flight is delayed until November 21, 2024. Passengers will receive their updated flight schedule shortly.
