• Sayulita: Lovers of water sports are spoiled for choice in Puerto Vallarta. Needless to say, scuba diving and sailboat excursions are available. As for surfers, they train on the waves at Sayulita. The adventurous climb the Sierra Madre on donkeys and come back down again by zip line.

• Golf: Golfers love the Nayarit Riviera. Many courses of all levels await athletic types. Several are worth visiting, but Punta Mita is undoubtedly the most spectacular. Made up of two courses, it was designed by famous player Jack Nicklaus. The view of the Sierra Madre mountains is stunning.
