Though the Mediterranean sunshine and jewel-toned water might suggest a vacation spent firmly by the sea, Nice is way more than sunbathing. With a thriving art scene, delicious food and rich history, this French Riviera favorite has much in store for all types of tourists.
Le Vieux Nice: As it has hardly changed since the 1700s, its narrow streets retain an antique charm. Clusters of ladies gossiping in Niçois and holes-in-the-wall filled with locals will assure visitors the city hasn’t lost its soul.
Promenade des Anglais: Take in the rollerbladers, fashionistas, posh hotels and stunning beaches as you stroll down the palm-lined Promenade des Anglais.
Parc de la colline: 90 meters above town, you will have a spectacular view of the Baie des Anges and Nice’s port.
